Regulations on scholarships and incentives for the academic year 2022 – 2023 at FPT Danang High School

Article 1. Subjects of application

  • For students transferring schools to FPT Schools between the 2021-2022 school year and the beginning of the 2022 school year -2023: only apply admission incentives.
  • For students of grade 06: apply preferential regimes and admission scholarships.
  • For students of Grade 03, 04 and 05: Continue to use preferential regimes and scholarships according to the enrollment regulations of each course.

Article 2. Value and duration of application of incentives and scholarships

  • The incentives and scholarships are valid until the end of the school year.
  • Scholarships have the value of 30%, 50%, 70% and 100% of the main course of the academic year.
  • The preferential regimes are worth 30% and 10% of the main tuition fee of the school year.

Article 3. Number of scholarships and incentives granted for each course

The total value of all scholarships and incentives granted for each course does not exceed 10% of the standard tuition fee (100% rate) of the total number of students in that course.

Article 4. Preferential regimes and preferential consideration procedures

– 30% discount on the main tuition fee of the 3-year course for students whose parents/brothers are FE staff (official employment contract).

– 10% discount on the actual tuition fee paid for the first enrollment for the biological children of FPT employees (Official Labor Contract). The actual paid main course fee is the main course fee that must be paid after deducting other incentives and scholarships.

– Procedures for consideration of incentives: Students eligible for incentives need to add additional confirmation documents in their admission documents corresponding to the following subjects:

  • Preferential students who have parents/siblings who are FE employees or are biological children of FPT employees who have official labor contracts, must periodically submit a certificate of working with a term of no more than 14 days from the date confirmed by the working/training unit to the date of submitting the paper to the school to continue enjoying the incentives;
  • Other financial incentives are made in accordance with FE’s current regulations.

Article 5. Scholarships

  • Grant scholarships worth 100% of tuition fees for 3 years at the high school of FPT High School, Middle School and High School for the candidates who won the first prize in the Provincial/Cities Excellent Student Competition in Mathematics, English English, Informatics, Literature;
  • Granting scholarships worth 70% of tuition fees for 3 years at high schools of FPT High School, Middle School and High School for candidates who meet one of the following conditions:
    Second prize in the competition for excellent students at the provincial/municipal level in Mathematics, Informatics, Literature, English; The first prize in the competition for excellent students at the provincial/municipal level with the subjects of History, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry.
  • Grant scholarships worth 50% or 30% of tuition fees for 3 years at FPT Schools for the target group in Article 6 and satisfy the conditions on the list of students awarded scholarships by The admissions committee decisions.

Article 6. Participation in consideration for grant scholarship

1. Subjects: Students who satisfy one of the following conditions will participate in the scholarship consideration:

  • Achieved 3.5 years of excellent students at secondary school level.
  • Won the third prize in the provincial/municipal competition for excellent students in Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Informatics, and Literature in the 9th grade.
  • Won second and third prizes in provincial/city competitions for excellent students in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Geography in grade 9.
  • Won first and second prize in excellent students contest at district/district/provincial level in Mathematics, Informatics, Foreign Languages, Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography.
  • Won first and second prize in hand-held computer math and math problem solving in English/French at provincial/municipal level.
  • Won national prizes or higher in grade 9 in arts, physical training and sports, science and technology competitions for high school students, specifically as follows:

– Students who win national prizes or higher in science and technology competitions for high school students organized or co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, including: International Olympic team selection contest, science and technology contest At the national level for middle and high school students, the “UPU international letter writing contest” is chaired by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

– Students who have won national prizes or higher in arts, physical training and sports organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with professional disciplines.

– The student won the first prize in the Young Informatics and English Speaking contest at the provincial/municipal level.

– Other awards besides the above competitions will be considered and decided by the Rector and the Admissions Council.

2. Scholarship application form:

Students are considered concurrently the following conditions:

  • Score spectrum converted from student’s academic achievement.
  • 01 essay on the topic of FPT High School.
  • Participate in an interview with the Admissions Committee.
  • Based on the results of considering the above conditions, the Admission Committee will decide the candidate and the level of scholarship to be granted.
  • Each candidate is only allowed to participate in 01 scholarship consideration out of the total number of scholarship rounds of the enrollment course.
  • For the arising case, the final result is considered and decided by the President of the Admissions Council.

Article 7. Stop granting scholarships and tuition incentives

Students who are being awarded a scholarship if they violate the discipline of level 3 or more will stop granting the scholarship in the next semester.

If the parent/sister/brother does not continue to work at FE, the sibling is forced to drop out of school due to a disciplinary violation at FE, the student who is enjoying the preferential tuition fee will be stopped in the next semester.

Article 8. Forms of scholarship and tuition incentives

  • Scholarships and incentives granted to students are directly deducted from the amount of tuition payable each term and meet the accompanying conditions.
  • Except for the 10% discount on the first payment for the children of FPT employees, students who are eligible for many incentives and scholarships will be considered for the highest value incentives and scholarships.
