Regulations on scholarships and tuition fee incentives for FSchools students for the academic year 2024 – 2025
FSchools Regulations on scholarships & tuition fee incentives in 2024-2025 is issued according to Decision No. 22/QĐ-CTGDFPT dated February 22, 2024 by the Director of FPT Education Company Limited.
1. Applicable Subjects
- For students registering for admission to the first classes of each educational level: Implementing the scholarship regime when registering for admission for the academic year 2024 – 2025 at FPT Schools (FSchools).
- For students currently studying at FPT Schools: They will continue to enjoy the scholarship regime according to the admission regulations of each course.
- For students transferring to schools outside of the first grade of each educational level at the beginning of the 2024 – 2025 academic year and students transferring to all classes at the start of the second semester of the 2024 – 2025 academic year: Only the tuition fee discount policy applies.
Article 2. Value and duration of scholarship application
The scholarship has values of 30%, 50%, 70%, and 100% of the tuition fees for each academic year and is applied until the end of the school level.
Article 3. Number of scholarship slots granted for each school year
The total value of all scholarship levels granted for each school year shall not exceed 10% of the standard tuition fee (100% level) for the total number of students in that cohort at each campus.
Article 4. Scholarship Eligibility
I. For Primary School students: Scholarship provisions not applicable.
II. For Secondary School students:
1. Recipients: Candidates falling under the following categories will participate in the scholarship search:
- Candidates with a total score of 81 points or above in the three subjects of Mathematics, Vietnamese, and Foreign Language based on their academic records, or candidates admitted directly for the academic year 2024 – 2025. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate good character traits.
- Candidates who achieve high scores in the entrance aptitude test for the academic year 2024 – 2025 (The qualifying score for scholarship consideration will be updated by the School later).
2. The scholarship search method:
- Candidates participate in the scholarship search exam to have the opportunity to receive scholarships valued at 100%, 70%, 50%, or 30% of tuition fees for 4 years at FPT Schools.
- Based on the interview results, the Admissions Council will decide on the candidates and the scholarship amounts to be awarded.
- Each candidate is only allowed to participate in one scholarship search session out of the total sessions for the admissions batch.
- In case of any contingencies, the final result will be considered and decided by the Chairman of the Admissions Council.
3. Time and format of scholarship search:
- Time: Specific time will be updated by the School later.
- Format: Direct examination at FPT Schools.
- Subjects: Logical Thinking Mathematics and Essay Writing.
III. For High School students:
1. Direct scholarship award:
- Awarding a 100% tuition scholarship for 3 years of high school education at FPT Schools to the first prize winner of the provincial/city-level Gifted Student Competition in Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Informatics, and Literature in grade 9 for the academic year 2022-2023 or 2023-2024 (applicable to candidates who participate in advanced-level examinations).
- Awarding a 70% tuition scholarship for 3 years of high school education at FPT Schools to candidates who meet one of the following conditions:
- + First prize in the provincial/city-level gifted student competitions in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography in grade 9 for the academic years 2022 – 2023 or 2023 – 2024 (candidates who take the exam ahead of their grade are eligible).
- + Second prize in the provincial/city-level gifted student competitions in Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Informatics, Literature in grade 9 for the academic years 2022 – 2023 or 2023 – 2024 (candidates who take the exam ahead of their grade are eligible)..
- Awarding a 30% scholarship for 3 years of high school education at FPT Schools to candidates who achieve third prize in provincial/city-level gifted student competitions in Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Informatics, Literature in grade 9 for the academic years 2022 – 2023 or 2023 – 2024 (candidates who take the exam ahead of their grade are eligible).
2. Scholarship Exam: Candidates participate in the scholarship search exam to have the opportunity to receive scholarships covering 100%, 70%, 50%, or 30% of the tuition fees for 3 years of high school education at FPT Schools
2.1. Recipients: Candidates meet one of the following conditions:
- Achieved excellence in 3.5 years of secondary school.
- Achieved third prize in the provincial/central city-level competitions for Mathematics, Foreign Language, Computer Science, and Literature in grade 9 during the academic years 2022 – 2023 or 2023 – 2024 (candidates who compete above their grade level are eligible).
- Achieved second and third prizes in the provincial/central city-level competitions for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, and Science in grade 9 during the academic years 2022 – 2023 or 2023 – 2024 (candidates who compete above their grade level are eligible)..
- First and second prizes in the district/city-level competitions for Mathematics, Computer Science, Foreign Languages, Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, and Science in grade 9.
- First and second prizes in handheld computer mathematics and math competitions in English/French at the provincial/city level directly under the central government in grade 9, academic year 2022 – 2023 or academic year 2023 – 2024 (applicable to candidates who have participated in higher-level competitions).
- Students who achieve national-level prizes or above in arts, physical education, sports, or science and technology competitions for secondary school students in grade 9, academic year 2022 – 2023 or academic year 2023 – 2024, as follows:
- Students who achieve national-level prizes or above in science and technology competitions for high school students organized or co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, including: the selection competition for international Olympic teams, national-level science and technology competitions for secondary and high school students, the “International Letter Writing Competition UPU” organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
- Students who achieve national-level prizes or above in cultural and sports activities organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or in collaboration with specialized departments.
- Students who achieve first prize in the Provincial/Centralized City-level Young Informatics Contest or English Debating Contest.
- Other awards besides the competitions mentioned above will be considered and decided by the Principal and the Admissions Council.
2.2. Time and content of the scholarship examination:
- Time: The specific time will be updated by the School later.
- Exam format: Directly at FPT Schools.
- Subjects: Logical Mathematics and Essay Writing.
- Based on the results of the scholarship examination, the Admissions Council will decide on the candidates and the level of scholarship to be awarded.
- In case of any issues, the final decision will be made by the Chairman of the Admissions Council after careful consideration.
Article 5. Fee discount regulations
- Students with siblings enrolled in FPT Education (FE) programs: 10% tuition fee reduction.
- Students with immediate family members (parents, siblings, or adopted children) who are official employees with a labor contract at FE: 30% tuition fee reduction.
- Students with parents who are official employees with a labor contract at FPT Corporation: 10% tuition fee reduction on actual tuition fees upon enrollment.
Article 6. Suspension of scholarships and tuition fee benefits
- Students who violate discipline at level 4 will have their scholarships suspended starting from the following semester.
- If a student’s parent/legal guardian recognized by law ceases employment at companies affiliated with FPT Corporation and FPT Education Organization (FE), the school will suspend the corresponding tuition fee benefits in the next semester.
- If a student’s sibling/legal guardian recognized by law discontinues studying at educational institutions under FPT Education Organization (FE); FPT Schools; FPT General College; FPT Polytechnic College; FPT International University; University of Greenwich Vietnam; Swinburne University of Technology Vietnam, the school will suspend tuition fee benefits in the next semester.
Article 7. Forms of scholarship and tuition fee incentives
- Scholarships or incentives granted to students shall be deducted directly from the tuition fees payable for each semester and subject to accompanying conditions.
- Except for the 10% tuition fee discount for the first payment for the child of FPT employees, for students eligible for multiple levels of incentives, scholarships will be awarded based on the highest applicable value.
