The FPT Schools’ King of Keyboard Contest

In order to help Fschoolers get excited about mastering 10-finger typing skills with fast speed and high accuracy, thereby contributing to improving learning efficiency, FPT Schools cooperates with Meduverse to organize the “King of Keyboard” Contest

In the digital age, students are heavily exposed to computers and use computers as an essential tool to support learning. The ability to type fast and accurate 10-finger keyboard then becomes one of the important skills for each individual. Therefore, the “Keyboard King” contest, gamified on the Meduverse platform, was organized to help students get excited about mastering 10-finger typing skills with fast speed and accuracy. thereby contributing to improving learning and working efficiency.

During the competition, students are provided with practice accounts with integrated AI technology to identify and advise students where they need to improve in computer typing.

I. General Information

1.1. Contest name: FAST COMPUTER WOOD CONTEST “KING KEYBOARD”.
1.2. Type: 10-finger typing game.
1.3. Organizers: FPT Corporation and FPT High School.
1.4. Audience: Students in the entire FPT High School System.
1.5. Competition format:
Compete individually.
1.6. Hold time:
• July 15-20, 2022: Launch and receive registrations through the homeroom teacher or admissions officer (for FPT Hai Phong Middle and High School and FPT Bac Ninh Inter-Secondary School).
• July 21, 2022: The organizers send accounts for contestants to practice.
• July 23, 2022: Instructions to access the system and answer questions by online form for parents and students.
• 7/23-4/8/2022: Students practice on Meduverse game.
• August 5-18, 2022: School-level competition round (specific time schools will announce to parents and students).
• August 25-31, 2022: National level competition (expected on August 27, 2022).
1.7. Prize:

1.7.1. School Award

Top 6 per block: Certificate.
Block Finalists: Certificates and Bonuses.
• First Prize: 300,000 VND
• Second Prize: 200,000 VND
• Third Prize: 100,000 VND
Finals Level (elementary, junior high, high school): Certificates, gifts and bonuses.
• First Prize: 500,000 VND
• Second Prize: 300,000 VND
• Third Prize: 200,000 VND
1.7.2. National Award
Awards by grade level: Certificates, gifts and bonuses.
• First Prize: 1,500,000 VND
• Second Prize: 1,000,000 VND
• Third Prize: 700,000 VND
National Super Championship – Keyboard King Award
• Certificates, gifts and bonuses.
• Bonus: 3,000,000 VND
And a certificate for the Top 30% of the best candidates in the whole system

2. Competition Rules
2.1. Competition rules and room arrangement:

Students compete in individual form.
Each exam room has a maximum of 6 students/room.
Each round will last for 5 minutes. The individual’s score will be calculated based on the best and fastest typing results of the characters given by the game.
After each round, the 2 candidates with the best results in each room will be automatically arranged to form new exam rooms and participate in the next rounds.
In the event that the competition round right before the final round has more than 6 contestants and a maximum of 12 candidates, the Organizing Committee will draw these contestants to divide them into 2 exam rooms and select the top 3 contestants in each room to join the final round test.

2.2. For school level competitions:

Top 6 contestants of each block participate in the final round of each block to choose the best individuals to award the First, Second, and Third prizes of each block.
03 candidates who won First, Second, and Third prizes of blocks of the same grade competed against each other in rooms arranged by the organizers to choose 3 first, second and third prizes of their grade.

2.3. For the national level competition:
2.3.1. Competition to choose the best contestant in the Block: The candidates who won the First, Second, and Third prizes of each school level participated in a block competition to select the First, Second, and Third contestants of each block.
2.3.2. Competition to select the best contestant by grade level: The contestants who won the First, Second, and Third prizes of each school’s grade level compete with other schools by grade level: Primary, Secondary and High School to choose. First, Second, and Third Prizes of each grade level.
2.3.3. Competition to choose King of the Keyboard: National Super Championship. The contestants who won the First, Second, and Third prizes of each level participated in the competition to find the King of the Keyboard.
Note: The arrangement of candidates into the exam room according to the preset algorithm. During the competition, if a contestant misses the test and/or an odd candidate cannot be arranged to enter the exam room with the maximum number of 6 candidates/room, the organization of the contest for that round will still be conducted normally and Selection of candidates is still according to the rules mentioned above.

3. Preparation and notes during the competition
Students register to participate in class competitions.
The organizers will provide accounts for students to practice on the Metaverse system.
During the competition, contestants must comply with the following requirements:

Pre-install the game on your computer.
Use the account (account) provided by the organizer.
Candidates should prepare a computer for the exam and a stable internet connection. The organizers disclaim responsibility in the event that the contestant has a problem with his personal computer and/or the internet connection is interrupted during the contest, which may result in the candidate being unable to attend the entire contest. complete, even unable to participate in the exam.
During the exam, candidates follow the email registered with the organizers and go online on the contest’s system to receive a password to access the next round, if the contestant is selected to enter the contest. continue to participate in the following rounds.
Contestants do not cheat, attack the system… in any way. If discovered, the candidate will be disqualified from taking the exam and the results will not be recognized.
In the process of reviewing and preparing for the competition, if there are any questions about the rules, or techniques that need support or clarification, the contestants should immediately notify the organizers for timely support.
