Students of FSchool Hanoi make a Blockchain application

A group of students from FPT Hanoi High School built the "Cornfield website" to encourage users to self-study and experience the joy of learning. Applying Blockchain, this product has new features that make the team confidently call for capital, opening the possibility of commercialization.

Bui Quang Tung, Nguyen Dang Cuong, Nguyen Hoang Hai, Chu Minh Tuan, Do Duc Phu (Hanoi FPT High School) used to have a hard time finding motivation to study for themselves. Understanding that psychology of learners, the group together came up with the idea of ​​building an optimal tool, applying a learning-by-play model and a reward mechanism to create excitement and motivation for learners.

The product is called “Cornfield website”. It has 4 main features: Learn to Earn model, News, Leaderboard model and Play to Earn model.

Top 5 best students with the highest results will be honored at the Leaderboard and receive NFT rewards (seeds, water, fertilizer, land) used in the Play to Earn model (role-playing farm game).

“Cornfield website” is built according to a strict cycle of “Learn to Earn to Play” with the criterion: “Before being a good player, you need to be a hard learner”.

Recently, Fschoolers brought the idea of ​​”Cornfield website” to participate in the Final Round of FPT Edu Hackathon 2022 – a programming contest organized by FPT Edu, with the theme “Distributed Applications on Blockchain Platform”. The whole process of programming this product was completed by 5 team members in just 27 hours according to the regulations of the Final round.

“Cornfield website” is highly appreciated by IT lecturers and experts in the field of Blockchain applications in terms of programming techniques. Although they are just high school students, have not studied in-depth about programming, and are also first approaching new technologies such as Blockchain, the product development team has shown their creativity, good problem solving and Good basic programming skills.
