FPT Schools awards 2,000 scholarships to students nationwide for the 2024-2025 academic year

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the FPT Schools system will award 2,000 scholarships to high school students nationwide. These scholarships will apply to students enrolling in the academic year 2024-2025 at the 12 campuses of FPT Schools across 9 provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, and Can Tho. The total value of scholarships awarded amounts to 150 billion VND for this academic year.

The scholarship program is available to new students enrolling in the first year of each level of middle school and high school. Scholarships range from 10% to 100% of tuition fees for each academic year and cover the entire duration of study. Scholarships from FPT Schools may be awarded directly to candidates who meet the criteria or through scholarship search exams organized by the school.

Direct scholarship awards apply only to candidates applying to high school and who have achieved excellence in talent competitions organized by FPT Schools or have outstanding achievements in provincial or national-level talent competitions.

Students will be awarded a 100% scholarship if they achieve first prize in provincial or national-level competitions in Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Informatics, or Literature. A 70% scholarship will be awarded to students who achieve first prize in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, or Science, or second prize in Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Informatics, or Literature at provincial or national level competitions. A 30% scholarship will be awarded to students who achieve third prize in Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Informatics, or Literature at provincial or national-level competitions.

For the scholarship examination, candidates will sit for exams directly at the FPT Schools campuses nationwide, with two subjects: Logical Mathematics and Essay Writing. Candidates may choose to participate in both subjects and/or scholarship interviews depending on the exam content of each school campus. Based on the exam results and interviews, the school’s admissions committee will decide the scholarship amount to be awarded to students.

For candidates applying to secondary school level, students are eligible to participate if they have a total score of 81 points or above in the evaluation of three subjects: Mathematics, Vietnamese, and English based on their academic transcript, and they also possess good character traits; or they are candidates who achieve high results in the entrance assessment conducted by FPT Schools campuses.

For candidates applying to high school level, students are eligible to participate if they achieve one of the following accomplishments:

1. Having an average score in Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Language over three consecutive semesters in grades 8 and 9 of 70 points or above;
2. Being recognized as a top student for 3.5 years at the secondary school level;
3. Winning second or third prize in the provincial/central-level Olympiads organized by the Ministry of Education and Training;
4. Winning first or second prize in district-level competitions organized by the province or city directly under the central government, or in handheld computer math competitions and math competitions in English/French at the provincial/central level;
5. Achieving national-level awards or higher in competitions related to arts, sports, science, and technology;
6. Winning first prize in the Young Informatics Competition, English debating competitions at the provincial/city level directly under the central government.

For primary school level, FPT Schools does not organize scholarship search exams. For students with exceptional abilities, the scholarship level will be considered and decided by the Chairman of the Admissions Council.

On May 12, 2024, FPT Schools will organize scholarship assessment exams at all school branches within the system, including FPT High School Hanoi, FPT Elementary and Middle School Cau Giay, FPT High School Bac Tu Liem, FPT Elementary and High School Hai Phong, FPT Elementary and Middle School Danang, FPT High Schools in Danang, Can Tho, Quy Nhon, and FPT Inter-Level Schools in Ha Nam, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa.
