1. Admissions Applicants

Admissions applicants are students who are physically fit and meet the age requirements specified for each grade/level they are applying for. The age of students entering first grade is 6 years old. The age of students entering sixth grade is 11 years old. The age of students entering tenth grade is 15 years old.

For students who are of different ages corresponding to each grade level, the school will consider and accept them in accordance with the regulations outlined in the Primary School and Secondary School statutes, which have multiple grade levels.

Students who are foreigners living and studying in Vietnam, Vietnamese nationals living and studying abroad, or enrolled in other educational programs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must comply with the regulations set forth by the local Department of Education and Training.

2. Admissions methods

Students applying for pre-admission will undergo an assessment of their interactive abilities, language proficiency, and emotional quotient (EQ). This assessment can take place either in person or online.

3. Admission quotas

According to the regulations of the corresponding local Department of Education and Training for each institution.

4. Admission requirements

To become a student of FPT Schools, when applying for admission, students need to meet the following conditions:

  • Participated in the entrance assessment and passed or qualified for direct recruitment;
  • Complete the learning tasks in the previous classes/blocks (except for grade 1 students);

Note: Parents needs to make sure the student has the physical and mental conditions to be able to attend the school. Due to limited facilities and staff, the school is unable to provide services to students with special care requirements.

5. Scholarships and Preferential Policies

Scholarships and preferential policies are applied according to the regulations on scholarships and tuition fee preferential policies for students at each institution within the FPT Schools.

3. Admissions methods

1. Direct Admission (for Grade 6)
Evaluation based on academic records: Using the scores of 3 subjects: Mathematics, Vietnamese, and Foreign Language for admission consideration. Specifically as follows:

  • The total score of 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese, Foreign Language of the 1st term of grade 4, 2nd term of 4th grade and 1st term of 5th grade is at least 81 points.
  • The total score of 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese, Foreign Language of the 2nd semester of grade 4, the 1st semester of grade 5 and the 2nd semester of grade 5 is at least 81 points.
  • The total score of 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese, and Foreign Language for the entire year of grade 4 is doubled and the first semester of grade 5 reaches a minimum of 81 points.
  • The total score of 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese, Foreign Language of the 2nd semester of 4th grade and the entire year of 5th grade is doubled to reach a minimum of 81 points.
  • The total score of 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese, and Foreign Language for the entire 4th grade year is doubled and the entire 5th grade year reaches a minimum of 81 points.
  • The total score of 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese, and Foreign Language in all 4th grade and 5th grade is doubled to reach a minimum of 81 points.

2. Application (For grades 6, 7 and other grades if there are still quotas according to each school's regulations)

  • Candidates participate in assessment of input capacity.
  • Assessment content includes: Scientific Thinking, Vietnamese Language Thinking, English Language Thinking.
  • Format: In person or online.

 

4. Admission requirements

To become a student at FPT Schools, when completing admission procedures, candidates must meet the following conditions:

1. Complete the learning program of the previous blocks/grades.

  • Regarding academic performance and conduct: Participated in the entrance assessment and was admitted or met the admission criteria stated in the admission method.
  • Regarding health: Ensure health to study and live in a boarding/day-boarding environment.

2. Agree and sign the admission agreement document.

3. For special cases, candidates will participate in an interview with the Principal/CEO and Admissions Council.

5. Scholarships and Preferential Policies

Scholarships and preferential policies are applied according to the regulations on scholarships and tuition fee preferential policies for students at each institution within the FPT Schools.

Apply the admission method for all candidates: Admission is based on secondary school transcript scores or 10th grade entrance exam scores organized by the local Department of Education and Training or academic achievements.

1. Review transcripts:

  • Regarding academic performance: Consider the total average semester score in Mathematics, Literature and Foreign Language of 03 consecutive semesters in grades 8 and 9. Admission scores are submitted to the Division Director for approval by the institutions.
  • For secondary schools that record average subject scores for the entire school year (no subject average scores per semester), each semester's admission score can be replaced by the average subject score for the 8th or 9th grade year. duplicated.
  • Regarding conduct: Classification of conduct in all years of secondary school is from Good or higher.

2. Consider the 10th grade entrance exam score organized by the local Department of Education and Training:

  • FPT Schools base on scores of 3 subjects in Math, Literature and Foreign Language in the 10th grade entrance exam organized by the local Department of Education and Training for admission.
  • Admission scores are submitted to the Block Director for approval by the establishments.
    Conduct ratings for all years of middle school were from Good or higher.

3. Consider academic achievement:

  • Regarding conduct: Classification of conduct in all years of secondary school is from Good or higher.
  • Regarding academic achievement: Students meet one of the following requirements:
    + Students achieve 3.5 years of excellent students at secondary school level.
    + Students who win national prizes or higher in 9th grade in arts, physical education and sports, and science and technology competitions for high school students, specifically as follows:
    ➢ Won national prizes or higher in science and technology competitions for high school students organized or co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, for example: International Olympic team selection competition, national science and technology competition for middle and high school students.
    ➢Won prizes in the "UPU International Letter Writing" contest is chaired by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
    ➢ Won awards at national level or higher in arts, physical education and sports organized or co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
    + Students who won consolation prizes or higher in the excellent student exam at the Provincial/Central City level in 9th grade in the subjects of culture, French, science and technology, handheld computers, and math solutions in English /French, Young informatics, English rhetoric, Practical experiments (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
    + Students who win consolation prizes or higher in the district/provincial-level excellent student exam in 9th grade in the subjects of culture, French, technical science, handheld calculator, and math solutions in English English/French, Young information technology, English rhetoric, Practical experiments (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

4. Candidates have special abilities and abilities
are reviewed and approved by the Principal/CEO and Admissions Council.
