Under the theme "Think Smart - Do Fast," Techcamp 2024 brings together leaders from FPT Schools, the FSchools' Technology Council, and core teachers from FSchools to discuss solutions for advancing technology education activities within FSchools and for the community.

This is the annual technology strategy meeting for Technology, STEM, Mathematics, and Computer Science teachers from FPT Schools.

Techcamp 2024 took place over two days, June 18 and 19, in Da Nang city with the theme “Think Smart – Do Fast.” This year’s program featured two special guests: Dr. Do Hoang Son, founder of the STEM Alliance, and Dr. Kim Manh Tuan, Faculty of Educational Management, Vietnam National University – Hanoi.

Techcamp is an opportunity for teachers at FPT Schools to share and learn teaching experiences, create playgrounds, and provide learning experiences for students. At Techcamp 2024, educators explored the application of AI in education at FPT Schools, along with multidimensional approaches to AI across subjects through a series of presentations from guest speakers.

At Techcamp, teachers had the opportunity to interact and learn from two leading experts in STEM: Dr. Do Hoang Son on “STEM Community in Vietnam” and Dr. Kim Manh Tuan on “Building an AI Community and Learning from the Community.” Additionally, educators had the chance to explore information about technology competitions, and robotics both domestically and internationally for secondary school teachers and students. They discussed and learned how to establish standard Labs, build interdisciplinary projects at various levels, apply AI in teaching, and also discussed organizing new technology activities for teachers and students.

Techcamp also serves as an occasion for the FPT Schools Technology Council to review prominent technology activities and competitions held at FPT Schools during the past academic year. Over the past year, more than 30,000 students participated in the STEM Day technology activities at FPT Schools, alongside 16 robot innovation competitions involving over 1,000 students. These competitions awarded over 60 prizes to outstanding participants.

At Techcamp, teachers from FPT Schools across the three regions had the opportunity to come together and participate in teambuilding activities, attend gala events to honor achievements, and celebrate outstanding individuals from the past academic year.

FPT Schools believes that through Techcamp, teachers have been able to update their experiences, knowledge, and new educational solutions to provide fun and useful experiences in Technology, STEM, and Robotics. This initiative benefits not only FSchools students but also students from other secondary schools nationwide.
