A large number of candidates participate in the scholarship examination of FPT Schools

On May 12th, the scholarship examination of the FPT Schools system officially took place at 12 FPT Schools campuses nationwide.

Held at 12 campuses in 9 cities – Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Ha Nam, Da Nang, Thanh Hoa, Can Tho, and Quy Nhon – the examination attracted a large number of candidates from various provinces. During the examination, candidates tested their skills in two subjects: Thinking Math and Essay Writing, while seeking opportunities to earn valuable scholarships covering up to 100% of the annual tuition fees for each academic year, fully covering the entire educational level at FPT Schools.

Early in the morning, candidates from various provinces and cities gathered at the FPT Schools campuses to receive examination information, collect their candidate numbers, and complete the final preparations before the examination commenced.

The scholarship examination applies to students registering for new admissions in the entry classes of lower and upper secondary levels. Candidates can participate in the two subjects mentioned above and/or a scholarship interview, depending on the examination content of each campus. Based on the results of the examination and the interview, the school’s admissions committee will decide the scholarship amount awarded to each student. For the primary level, FPT Schools does not organize a scholarship examination. For candidates with exceptional abilities, the scholarship amount will be considered and decided by the Chairman of the admissions committee.

Sharing after the two exams, Than Thi Dieu Anh, a 9th-grade student participating at the FPT Primary, Secondary & High School in Bac Giang, said: “Previously, I had consulted tips from seniors who had taken the FPT Schools scholarship exam before, so although the exam had some differences compared to other exams I had taken, I wasn’t too surprised. My parents researched the school thoroughly, so I will be studying at FPT Schools in the future.”

Commenting on the exam for candidates registering for lower secondary level, Nguyen Tran Ngoc Minh, a 5th-grade student participating at the FPT Primary, Secondary & High School in Bac Ninh, shared that although the Math exam had many difficult questions, there were still questions closely related to the knowledge he had learned. “I did well on the test. I hope I will achieve my goal of winning the FPT Schools scholarship,” Minh added.

*In addition to the scholarship examination, FPT Schools also organized seminars for parents and teachers.*

On May 12th, in addition to the scholarship examination, FPT Schools’ campuses also organized various seminars for parents and teachers. These included the 2024 Inter-School Professional Seminar for teachers from 26 high schools with the theme “General Education Program in the Flow of Technology” held at FPT High School in Can Tho, the seminar “Active Learning: Proactive Learning to Create the Future” at FPT Primary & Secondary School in Cau Giay, the education seminars “Steady Steps into Grade 1” and “Understand Correctly, Decide Correctly” at FPT Primary, Secondary & High School in Bac Giang and FPT Secondary & High School in Hai Phong.

For the 2024 – 2025 academic year, FPT Schools plans to award 2,000 scholarships to new students enrolling at its 12 campuses. The total value of the scholarships awarded will reach 150 billion VND for this academic year.
